My name is Josh Shoemaker, and I'm married to my high school sweetheart. We have two daughters who are currently in high school. I grew up eventing in Western New York, and as an event rider, I grew up with many different horses and saddles. Back then, saddle fit wasn't something we gave much thought to. We threw on whatever saddle we had and often wondered why our horses misbehaved or developed sore backs. Now, with a much deeper understanding of saddle fit, I recognize how much it impacts both the horse and the rider. That knowledge led me to represent Custom Saddlery, a brand prioritizing quality and fit at the highest level.
